Welcome to the Life Sciences at Santa Clarita Christian School. In these courses, students are introduced to all forms of life and associated processes and effects that impact these beings; students review the classification of living organisms and their particular adaptations for inhabiting specific environments; students explore concepts that describe how all these living things ‘get along’ with each other and this environment (Ecology); and students are introduced to the bane and benefit of man’s interactions with our God-given resources. In appreciation of the explicit order and design evident in our bodies and in our world, we cannot help but offer praises to our Creator and Sustainer! Acts 17:24-27 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. |
